Outside of snow skiing and snow capped mountains, the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex offers just about everything that anyone could want to do! Shopping entails goods and services from the everyday to the extraordinary. Chose from authentically American to incredibly international. All facets of the world are offered in this melting pot for everyone to enjoy.

    Typically, most people think of the D/FW area as a flat, dried out, tumble-weed haven with long horns, ranches and J.R. Ewing! To set the record straight, there are flat stretches as well as rolling hills, hotter and drier summers than some places.  There are plenty of lakes to keep us irrigated.  Of course there are some ranches on the outskirts with long horns and other types of cattle but we mostly boast of single family homes and planned community lifestyles.  Finally, the tumbleweeds vanished a long time ago, even before J.R. Ewing was staring on the TV show, “Dallas”!

    The Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex is a vibrant and growing area pushing 6 million people. It is the home to many corporate offices for the Fortune 500 companies and countless individual entrepreneurs. Dallas boasts of the largest art district in the U.S. and Ft. Worth has its award winning and one of the top 5 zoos in the nation! There are professional sports teams such as the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association, the Texas Rangers of the American Baseball League, the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League, the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League and the FC Dallas of Major League Soccer as well as several farm and semi-pro teams. The Texas Motor Speedway is the host to several NASCAR and Indy Formula 1 racing throughout the year.

    In addition to sports, there is an abundant amount of other types of entertainment such as Broadway style shows, theme parks, water parks, hike and bike trails, world renowned orchestras and art galleries, the Texas State Fair and numerous festivals to name a few. 

    Higher education is plentiful with Southern Methodist University, North Texas State University, Dallas University, University of Texas at Arlington, Texas Christian University, Texas Woman’s University among many other colleges and technical schools.

    Getting from one end of the Metroplex to the other is easy on the many interstates, loops, highways and toll roads that stitch the communities together and there are more being built and enhanced continuously. Throughout the Dallas area is a mass transit system of light rail which is second to none and continually expanding. Traveling far? The Dallas-Ft. Worth International Airport is the second largest by area and forth busiest airport in the U.S.  It is the hub and heart of the Metroplex.
